NYC Ballet Tickets & Performance FAQ
To maintain the exquisite intimacy of our performances, our venues offer limited seating. Due to the popular nature of our New York City season—particularly for holiday favorites like The Nutcracker—shows frequently sell out months in advance.
We strongly recommend securing your tickets as soon as your travel dates are confirmed to ensure your preferred seating and experience.

This rare level of precision and expressive grace is the hallmark of the Ajkun© Methodology, further refined by the mentorship of world-renowned coaches, including the legendary Herman Cornejo.
These high-level collaborations ensure that every performance is not just a dance, but a sophisticated and unforgettable theatrical event.

The Theater Collection represents the pinnacle of classical tradition met with modern innovation. Staged in the prestigious cultural corridors of Midtown Manhattan and the Upper East Side, these productions offer a cinematic window into a world of dramatic storytelling and virtuosic precision.
The Artistry of Chiara Ajkun
At the center of this collection is the original work of Artistic Director Chiara Ajkun. Renowned for choreography that is both poetic and powerful, her signature style blends classical purity with contemporary fluidity, uncovering narratives that resonate with today’s global audience.
A Masterpiece of Curated Production
Each performance is a multi-sensory journey, meticulously crafted with:
Cinematic Scores: Music selected to heighten every dramatic beat and choreographic swell.
Theatrical Brilliance: Expertly designed lighting and designer couture that transform the stage into a vivid, living canvas.
Curated Minimalist: In keeping with Chiara Ajkun’s “Less is More” philosophy, traditional sets are replaced by essential, evocative elements. Much like a gallery displaying treasured gems, these sophisticated pieces suggest a location without the distraction of static décor – prioritizing the artist’s performance and inviting the modern viewer’s imagination to take center stage.
The Theater Collection is more than a performance; it is an invitation to witness the enduring power of ballet in the world's most vibrant theater districts.
The Theater Collection
Redefining the boundaries between artist and audience.
The Face-to-Face Collection offers a rare, visceral entry into the world of professional ballet. By dissolving the traditional "fourth wall," we place you at the very heart of the movement, offering a perspective usually reserved for the stage itself.
Set within the architectural splendor of Midtown Manhattan’s historical landmarks and avant-garde spaces, these performances are uniquely designed and frequently presented in-the-round or featuring on-stage seating. This is not a glimpse behind the scenes, but a fully realized professional production curated for the discerning spectator.
A Symphony of Sight and Sound
Far from a rehearsal, each performance is a meticulously staged event featuring:
Designer Couture: Exquisite, hand-crafted costumes that capture the light and the spirit of the character.
Atmospheric Artistry: Suggestive theatrical lighting and specialized effects designed to transport you into the narrative.
Cinematic Scores: The power of classical music serves as the heartbeat of every leap and turn.
The Signature Finale
The experience transcends the final bow. Following the performance, guests are invited to an exclusive meet-and-greet with our professional company dancers and Artistic Director, Chiara Ajkun.
To commemorate your evening, we are delighted to offer complimentary photographs with the cast—a cherished opportunity for families and travelers to capture the magic of the New York art scene.
We invite you to discover the upcoming shows in our exclusive Face to Face collection for full details about each unique event. These performances offer a connection to the choreography that is unique among Manhattan dance companies.
The Face To Face Collection
Some shows of the Ajkun Ballet Theatre are performed with the audience sitting at 360 degrees around the performers. The note “produced in-the-round” is added in the description for these shows.
To complete your New York City experience, we recommend pairing our one-act performances with the world-class dining surrounding our venues.
In Midtown Manhattan: Enjoy the sophisticated energy of Central Park South or the refined restaurants of 56th Street, perfectly situated for a pre-show dinner or post-show cocktail.
In the Upper East Side: Enhance your evening by visiting the nearby museums of the Miracle Mile followed by a quiet, upscale dinner in one of the neighborhood’s storied bistros.
Our performances are thoughtfully timed to allow our patrons to enjoy the full breadth of NYC’s premier dining and nightlife.
While the choreographic genius of Dr. Chiara Ajkun is a global phenomenon—with commissions gracing the stages of National Ballet Companies across 27 countries—New York City remains the cherished home and flagship Maison of the Ajkun Ballet Theatre.
As the epicenter of her creative world, our Manhattan stages offer the most authentic expression of her vision. It is here, within her historic New York residency, that an elite ensemble of Ajkun Ballet Company’s premier artists brings her most profound works to life.
To witness a performance in Midtown or the Upper East Side is to experience the "Ajkun signature" at its most visceral, refined, and quintessentially New York.
