VIDEO AUDITION and COMPANY CLASS AUDITION is accepted at any time during the year.

We pride ourselves to offer equal opportunities to all artists, regardless of their citizenship, gender, height, etc.
DANCER - We are looking for serious dancers with a classical background and an interest in contemporary movement. Ajkun Ballet Theatre prides itself for the multicultural and physical diversity featured on its roster and is not looking for a specific body type. A dancer’s talent and skills are the driving force behind our decision.
CHARACTER ACTOR - We are looking for actors with stage experience and interpreting skills to portray special roles (King, Queen, etc.). Some roles require minor dancing or movements.
CHOREOGRAPHER - We are looking for innovative choreographers interested in presenting their works to the worldly New York City audience and to broaden their networking and performance horizons.
Naturally, it depends on your interests. This is our recommendation, based on our offerings:
Professional dancers should audition for the Company or, when looking to enhance their training, for the Trainee Program and/or Performing in New York.
Advanced dancers should apply for the Trainee Program and/or Performing in New York.
Intermediate dancers should apply for the Dance in Italy Festival and/or the New York Winter Festival Workshop.
Beginner dancers should inquire for current offerings at ajkun@aol.com
Choreographers, Ensembles and Dancers should audition for the New York Winter Festival, when looking to showcase their talent in New York.
Please wear simple dance attire. Leotard/Unitard, tights, and ballet/pointe shoes for women; tights/ unitard, Tshirt
and ballet flats for men. Skirts and shorts are acceptable.
There are no cuts during our audition, and all participants stay to the end of the class.
