ABOUT: Trails and Dreams of Immigrant People

It could be you, your father, your mother, sister or brother.  You emigrate from fear or for hope of a better life.  You walk away from what is known and head for the unknown.  Slowly, memories surface.  Momentos of your life flood your mind in no specific order. The joy of youthful girls playing with water, the moment you recognized the love of your life, an invasion of war, and sadly, too often, broken lives.  You walk away but you yearn to go back.  What is the legacy of your land? Choreographer, Leonard Ajkun, self-inspired by the history of his native country, Albania, has created a contemporary ballet in order to generate a discussion on this important social topic.
