The program comprises of advanced training and hands-on understanding of the company's production and performance time, fully allowing participants to experience subjects not conventionally accessible in a study setting.
This program best suits Dance Students, Dance Professionals and Dance Teachers intending to pursue a professional career, to enhance their preparation and to further their careers in the industry.

Performing in New York
WE WELCOME ALL INQUIRIES:
- Our fully monitored living facilities provide accommodation from two days before the commencement of classes through the night following the last event. Friendly property and company staff are on premises at all times and available 24/7 to address your concerns. Additional supervision for minors is provided.
Company Tour Travel
- Travel is provided by Charter Bus, when requested by our performance tour.
- In the rare event of a medical emergency, our Staff will refer participant to a certified nurse, licensed physical therapist, or a nearby emergency medical unit as needed.
- To make your stay more enjoyable, a list of Optional Services, including event tickets, English as a Second Language classes, individual Pilates sessions and Company dancewear, is available to enrolled participants.
The repertory performed for the season dictates the number of positions available, typically 20 Dancers and 2 Dance Teachers.
Minimum age for Dancers is 14 years old and for Dance Teachers is 18 years old.
Participation is granted on a first-come, first-serve basis to the exhaustion of places available to candidates of any citizenship who can demonstrate having mastered a strong ballet technique and have the physical prerequisite to sustain an intense daily training and rehearsals.
To maintain the remarkable artistic standard required by our Company positions may be divided for countries. Official application deadline is April 30th. Past experience indicates that all positions are filled prior to the deadline. Applications are accepted as early as THREE YEARS in advance of the intended year of participation. Due to the high volume of worldwide applications Early Registration is strongly recommended.
Candidates are admitted through an Audition* in person or by DVD. Auditionees for the program are required to send in the registration fee along with the Audition Form and fee
to preserve the availability of their spot. The registration fee is reimbursed only in the case acceptance is denied.

Successful candidates will be provided with a complete informational package and will be guided by our Staff through the process leading to officially becoming a Summer Trainee to the Ajkun Ballet Theatre Company.
* In accordance with The United States law and The Ajkun Ballet Theatre’s non-discrimination policy, and to provide equal opportunities in dance training to candidates from underserved areas, there may be up to 3 positions every year granted without an audition.
Public and private contributions keep the program tuition considerably lower than the program's actual cost, and the participant's portion toward the program, thereafter referred to as "tuition", is US$ 3,680. The tuition is payable in full upon acceptance or in four installments. Registration fee is US$65.
The program's actual cost, inclusive of classes, costumes, accommodation, performance tour transportation for the 4 weeks is estimated at US$ 7,680 for each participant. Participants are selected for the summer program without regard to their financial need. In the past, generous donors have provided scholarships to ensure that gifted dancers will be able to attend, regardless of financial status. Donors interested in being part of the future of the arts, to promote a cultural understanding through dance, and to open the avenues of opportunities for our Youth should make their donations payable to "Ajkun Ballet Theatre, PINY". Contributions may be temporarily earmarked to candidates of a specific country, and every effort will be made to honor the donor's wish.

Dancers joining our program are challenged and inspired to achieve the very best through four high-level daily classes, in a
nurturing environment considerate of age and dance level,and then to convey their skills during performances. We believe
in the importance of providing strong ballet, pointe and repertory training that broaden in modern dance techniques and an
injury prevention-physical strengthening plan (IPPSP) in support of a healthful and long career in the field.
