Our goal is to enable students to appreciate and understand many different forms of dance, their interaction with music, drama and opera, and to promote unique cultural expressions conveyed by our multilingual Artists representing 5 different continents.
Far more than simple arts appreciation, the AjkunBT's practice is rooted in collaboration between artists and communities
that provide students with hands-on opportunities to explore and understand the arts.

Performances
We offer many different performance programs for a range of grade levels that can take place at your school and/or at our venues in Manhattan. Each performance may be introduced by a lecture and followed by a Q/A period with the artists. Study guides available.

Participatory Programs
A variety of workshop options that can be conducted in their own or in conjunction with a performance.
Multiple workshops can be offered to create a residency program specifically suited for your school, budget and student population.

It can focus on a single grade level or encompass many classes within your school.
It can be a combination of show and participatory activities or simply a sequence of movement workshops
that culminates in a performance sharing by the students.

Unique Projects
AjkunBT works with teachers and/or administrators in planning tailor-made programs that accomplish the objectives of the school.
Sometimes AjkunBT is the sole artist involved in a project and other times multiple artists of varying disciplines are involved.
These projects can be short or long-term. AjkunBT is sometimes involved in the full expanse of a school’s project or is just one component of it.
